Download new levels
(If you are looking for solutions, please
refer to the solutions page instead.)
(If you have made levels with the built-in level editor yourself,
submit them so that others can also enjoy your
levels!)
As you may know, the free demo version of Igor is
limited to 16x8 levels. This means that you will not be able to play most
new levels with the free demo. If you want to enjoy all new levels here, you
should get the full version. If you already have
the full version of Igor (legally of course), you don't have to worry
at all and you will be able to enjoy all new levels below!
To enjoy these levels, follow these simple steps:
- Download the appropriate zip-file (or files) below and save it on your
harddisk (remember where!) Note that the Free
Demo version can only play 'adddemo' levelsets, while the
Full version can play all.
- Open the Windows Explorer, browse to the location where you saved the
zip-file and double-click on it to open it. You will need a 'zip' program for
this. If you don't already have one, read the relevant information in the
Frequently Asked Questions on how to obtain one.
- Extract the contents of the zip-file to the 'levels' subfolder in the
location where you installed Igor (by default this is in
c:\program files\igor\levels). Note that you can extract the
zip-file to any location, but it is nice to have all levels in the same
location where you can find them easily.
- Now there are two ways to enjoy the new levels:
- Run the game and click on the 'Load other levels' option in the main
menu. Then simply browse to the levelfile you extracted (NOT the
zip-file!) and click on the 'open' button. Igor will load the new levels.
- Alternatively, you can find the levelfile you extracted (NOT the
zip-file!) with the Windows Explorer and double-click on it. Assuming
Igor has been installed properly on your machine it will load and start
with the selected levelset.
- When the new levels are loaded in Igor, you may have to create a new
player before you can play. This is because progress is saved for each
levelset separately (so you can switch back and forth between different
levelsets and Igor will still keep track of which levels you have solved
where).
- Note: since any new levels are usually not ordered with the easier levels
first, you may want to avoid the three-skips limit that the game has. If
you want to do that, you should read the FAQ about
How to cheat.
The levelsets are sorted in order of last modification. At the bottom, the
most recent levels can be found.
Total number of levels now available (including levels included
with the game): 556
