Supaplex Bugs :-(

This page will discuss bugs in the following programs I made, or helped make:

1. The SpeedFix
2. SPEdit (by Elmer Productions)

If a bug you found is not mentioned here, please read the Supaplex FAQ to see if it really IS a bug, and if you can't find an explanation, please contact me about it.

Known bugs in the SpeedFix version 6.3. If you have an older version, please upgrade to the latest version.

• The PLAYER.LST file is sometimes destroyed. This seems to happen in extremely rare cases. Email me, or Herman Perk (contact info).
• Sometimes, there can be screen glitches due to other activities of the operating system. This is NOT the same as the screen flicker problem (which happens continuously while playing).
• Only the video-bug (see the FAQ) still remains for some users. This is due to incompatibility of the videocard, not Supaplex itself...

Known bugs in SPEdit version 3.2. If you have an older version, please upgrade to the latest version (available on the Software page.)

• If you swap two levels using the 'E' command, and then exit the editor with Alt-X, all seems fine, but the LEVEL.LST file may not have been updated correctly.

  FIX:Use SpeedFix v6.2 or better to create a new LEVEL.LST file (see its documentation for more information about how you can do that).
